FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For more information, contact: Bowhunting the South Pacific 15 Grand SlamCamp Verde, Texas (March 1, 2006) – World-renowned bowhunter Tink Nathan is excited to announce another awesome video, now in DVD format. Bowhunting the South Pacific 15 is a perfect movie for hunters longing for a change from “vanilla video”. Weary of whitetail? Tired of turkeys? Put off by political correctness? Watch over Tink’s shoulder as he completes the South Pacific Grand Slam – the first bowhunter to accomplish this feat. A hunting odyssey into the lands down under, you’ll see awesome scenery and stalks on animals you’ve probably never heard of. This video was originally filmed in the 80’s before the days of neat and tidy kill shots and fluff. There are graphic scenes in this video, from a head shot on a wild hog to a devastating arrow kill on an Asiatic Water buffalo. This video is a hunting video,
more than just talking heads and kill after kill.
You get to see missed shots, and plenty of stalks.
You’ll see majestic scenery from lush, windswept
hills to dank, tropical forests. Witness a ton of
wildlife – pelicans, kangaroos, and giant lizards.
You’re right there as Tink puts a neat stalk on a
fallow buck through waist-high grass. The buck made
the fatal mistake of giving Tink a second chance,
after the first shot was a clean miss. Tink anchors
the buck with a point-blank shot after tracking him
through the meadow. Follow along as Tink pursues
Axis Deer, a Rusa Stag, and an Australian Red Deer
Stag. Tink slays a secretive Hog Deer – caught on
film for the first time. Tink surprises a Sambar
Stag in a wallow, and the result is the first ever
taken in Australia with a bow. You’ll lean forward
and peer intently as Tink warily approaches a downed
Water Buffalo, and administers the finishing shot
from mere feet away. Tink’s
adventures continue on to New Zealand, where hunts
take place near frigid streams and snow-capped
mountains. You’ll observe hunts on New Zealand Red
Deer, and the shaggy Himalayan Tahr. Tinks pulls off
a tricky shot on a trophy Tahr as it hesitates on
top of a rocky perch. Next is a South Pacific Feral
Goat sporting an awesome set of corkscrew horns.
You’ll watch as Tink zaps the elusive European
Chamois. After missing several long range shots,
Tink decides to chase one in close. The result is an
undeniable success as Tink lays claim to his Chamois
– only the 4th one to be taken with a
bow. A Yellowstone Elk is taken too – the wapiti is
arrowed on the run. A magnificent shot, he is down
within mere yards. Interestingly, the circle draws
to a close with something most of us are familiar
with – the whitetail. The South Pacific 15 is
completed with a successful shot on a New Zealand
Whitetail deer. In today’s
quest for things “Xtreme” this video is sure to be a
hit! Travel with Tink Nathan to the places of
pirates and aboriginals; of warm tropical breezes
and strange wildlife. This video depicts hunts the
likes of which most of us could never imagine. For more information, contact Tink’s Adventurevision Video Studios, Inc. at : P.O. Box 294209, Kerrville, TX 78029 Tinknathan@att.net , or visit the website at www.Tinks.tv |
